Introduction - Heather's guide to navigating successfully 101

Helloooo my favourite kidlets....

So i have been working with young people for quite a while now and it it has come to my attention that inevitably most of you graduate and some of you are entering university/college this year and the rest of you will be coming along shortly .. for those of you who have entered university (or who will be) i know that it can be a massive adjustment and can be really hard as i have been hearing from young people over and over again for years. However you are in luck as university is something i happen to know a lot about (having spent 6 successful years there so far!).... so i thought i would offer you my best bits of advice, some of which i learned from my dad the university professor, other friends, and some from trial and error. I know there are a lot of them and some of them might not work for some of you, but ultimately, if i can make your lives and that transition even a teensy bit easier for you guys then i have done my parental job well. I love you young people a lot and it is painful watching them fail due to stupid preventable mistakes...  ultimately i to see you all succeed. So here is my best university advice. Please don't judge the validity of what i am saying on any spelling or grammatical errors... i already graduated from university and i'm therefore not getting graded on that anymore... haha suckers  congratulations you lucky individuals who get to go to university!
